Benefits
Imagine the goodness of gentle exfoliation and the cleansing power of soap mixed together in one easy-to-use product. That’s exactly what our Goat Milk Soap Luffas are! Also known as loofahs, we pour our Oatmeal Milk & Honey soap into a natural luffa sponge while the soap is still soft.
Once it sets, we cut it into discs to create an easy-to-use exfoliating tool with built-in hydration to help keep your skin smooth and baby soft. Goat Milk Soap Luffas keep skin soft by sloughing away dead skin cells that accumulate on your skin’s surface. This allows the fresh, new skin underneath to breathe, helping unclog pores and minimize the likelihood of white heads forming.
You might have heard of body brushing - this popular trend helps boost circulation, enhancing blood flow to your skin to increase cell turnover. Our Goat Milk Soap Luffas are the perfect way to try ‘wet body brushing’. You can gently exfoliate with the luffa while ensuring your skin stays moisturized thanks to the nourishing goat milk soap.

Ingredients
Ingredients
Natural luffa; Raw goat milk; Saponified natural fats, coconut oil, sunflower oil; Fragrance oil (paraben-free and phthalate-free); Honey.
Raw Goat Milk
Unlike our competitors, we only use goat milk from our own herd of healthy, pastured dairy goats. Our milk travels several hundred feet from our milking parlor to our soaproom. It isn't transported hundreds of miles and it's often turned into soap the same day it is collected. This ultra-fresh milk is as healthy as possible and is high in skin-nourishing ingredients like Selenium, Vitamin A, and Lactic Acid.
Natural Fats
Lard contains a blend of fatty acids, including oleic, palmitic, and lauric acids, which nourish and protect the skin. It is also a rich source of vitamins A and D, both essential for skin health. These vitamins promote cell repair, reduce inflammation, and guard against environmental damage. Glycerin is a natural humectant that helps the skin retain moisture, making lard glycerides particularly beneficial for dry or sensitive skin. Studies also indicate that lard glycerides have mild antimicrobial properties, supporting skin health and reducing acne-causing bacteria.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can make your skin feel soft and smooth. Coconut oil has antimicrobial properties, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that can help treat skin conditions like acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Coconut oil has a small amount of natural SPF, so it can provide some minor sun protection for your skin. Coconut oil contains vitamin E, which can help even out your skin tone and reduce dark spots.
Sunflower Oil
Sunflower oil is known for its nourishing and moisturizing properties. It has vitamin E, which is great for moisturizing your skin. It has a type of fatty acid called linoleic acid that can help improve your skin's natural barrier and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It has lots of antioxidants that can help protect your skin from damage caused by the sun and pollution. If your skin is irritated and itchy, sunflower oil can help calm it down. It has anti-inflammatory properties that can reduce redness and swelling.
Fragrance Oils
Some of our most popular goat milk soaps are scented with fragrance oils. These scents can't be derived from plants and need to be created with a synthetic component. All fragrance oils are certified paraben-free and phthalate-free.
Honey
Honey has antibacterial properties that may help improve the healing process for skin cells. It can also help your skin retain moisture because it is a humectant. It is anti-inflammatory and can help reduce skin swelling, redness, and irritation. Honey is also anti-microbial and can kill bacteria on your skin, which supports acne-prone skin. Honey can also help to keep pores from clogging.
Saponified
Saponification is the chemical soapmaking reaction that turns the ingredients into soap. We use sodium hydroxide as the catalyst for bar soap and potassium hydroxide as the catalyst for liquid soap. Neither of these ingredients are left in the finished soap. They have all been used up in the saponification reaction and turned into soap.
Directions
Directions
- Wet. Get both your skin and the soap wet.
- Lather. Rub the luffa soap over your skin to create a lather. Avoid getting it directly in your eyes.
- Exfoliate. Focus on areas like heels, elbows, or knees. For facial use, apply carefully just once or twice a week to avoid over-exfoliation.
- Rinse. Thoroughly wash off all the soap lather.
- Store Properly. After using, place the luffa soap on a soap dish or soap rest to dry thoroughly. This will help it last longer.
- Patch Test First. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test the soap on a small area of skin and discontinue if irritation occurs.
Please be aware that it will take a few uses before the luffa sponge is fully exposed.

About Us
The Jonas family is a God-loving, hard-working, ever-learning family that seeks to honor Jesus in all that we do. We began Goat Milk Stuff to share the goodness of goat milk with others, to bring Jim home full-time, and to provide an environment where the children could learn to be entrepreneurs. As the children and Goat Milk Stuff have grown, we've been able to watch all of these goals come to fruition. We have a very simple philosophy when it comes to parenting and educating our children.

Meet Our Goats
We breed Alpine and Nigerian Dwarf registered dairy goats in Scottsburg, Indiana - only half an hour North of Louisville, Kentucky. Our Alpine dairy goats are raised as naturally as possible. We have a 36 acre farm in Southern Indiana, and the goats spend their days in the woods, in their pastures, or in the barn if there's bad weather.
Baby goats are raised on their mom's colostrum and goat milk. Babies are weaned around 3-4 months old. Since the moms are milked for about 10 months, there is plenty of excess milk to use in our goat milk products.
